Happy Birthday, Dad

Lawrence Harris would have been 96 this year. A country boy from Polk County Florida, the United States Coast Guard provided him with the opportunity to explore throughout America.
My dad liked to laugh out loud, tell silly jokes and just have crazy fun.  He tried to practice spontaneity having no real plans and not being bogged down in details; but with me, he did plan to: Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old, he will not depart from it...Proverbs 22:6
His training was strict and his patience was thin but his love ran deep and from his lessons I can not depart.
