If January had 30 days, I would have actually accomplished my resolution of a blog a day for the month.  But, it doesn't so therefore I didn't.  What I was doing was adding books I had read to the on going book blog so I have allowed myself a bit of forgiveness.  The month of February I plan on posting a picture a day; the theme will of course be love. 
My blogs will be ongoing and the one on books will continue to grow.
