Chocolate Sun Warrior Smoothie in Key West

One of the most beautiful churches in Key West is St. Paul's Episcopal Church located on, of all places, Duval Street.  The church was established in 1831 but the building itself has been rebuilt several times due to hurricanes and fires.

Behind the church is a graveyard where some of Key West's ghosts are supposed to appear.  Included, are the apparition of children near the statue of an angel in the corner of the garden and an infamous sea captain.  The seafaring  spirit is reported to attack people in the cemetery.

Here at Willie's home in the Keys, the ghosts are kept away by Butterscotch; allowing me time to create raw smoothies.

Willie thought this blend tasty so here is the recipe:
  • 1 can of well chilled organic coconut milk (13.5 oz)
  • 1 frozen banana (peeled and cut into quarters before freezing)
  • 1 Tablespoon almond butter
  • 2 teaspoons chia seeds
  • 2 scoops Sun Warrior Chocolate Blend
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon Sun Warrior Supergreens
  • 1 Tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon bee pollen
  • 1 cup of ice cubes
Place ingredients into blender using the liquid, solid, frozen method found here.
Blend well and drink (will thicken if left to sit).
